Pancake Breakfast Opens Annual Mukilteo Festival
The 26th annual Mukilteo Festival kicks off tomorrow with a pancake breakfast at Rosehill Community Center and continues with the "Run-A-Muck" races, a parade, fishing derby, entertainment and a street dance.
The pancake breakfast begins at 7 a.m at the center, continuing until 10 a.m. The Boys & Girls Club fishing derby starts at 8 a.m. at Pier 1, and the 10k run and 5k run/walk begin at 8:30 a.m.
Carnival booths open at 10 a.m., and food booths open at 11 a.m. The festival parade also starts at 11 a.m., beginning at Rosehill.
Entertainment runs from noon to 10:30 p.m. at the tennis courts, where a half-dozen music groups will perform. At 2 p.m., community awards will be given at the bandstand, while a pet show commences at the ballfield.
Other activities include Lincoln Avenue Courtyard exhibits, tours and pony rides at McNab Hogland House, a big-band dance at 7 p.m. in Rosehill gym and a street dance at 8:30 p.m. at the tennis
