San Jose State Names Ralston Football Coach

John Ralston, recently inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame after coaching at Stanford and Utah State, as well as the NFL's Denver Broncos, was named head football coach at San Jose State today.
Ralston, 65, succeeds Ron Turner, who left the Spartans after one season to become offensive coordinator of the NFL's Chicago Bears.
