Giants' Rogers Has Blood Clot In Shoulder
SAN FRANCISCO - Kevin Rogers, San Francisco Giants pitcher who has been on the disabled list since May 2, has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his pitching shoulder.
Rogers, 25, the Giants' best left-handed reliever, had been having circulatory problems in his left arm and fingers and was undergoing diagnostic tests when the blood clot was found. He will have more tests done to determine appropriate treatment, the team said yesterday.
