Soccer Ticket Pledges Exceed 1,300
Major League Soccer, the professional Division I league scheduled to kick off in April 1995, will be notified that ticket deposits in Seattle exceed 1,300, said Cliff McCrath, chairman of the local group bidding for a team.
The deadline for season-ticket deposits for the 22 bidding cities was today. The MLS is expected to announce the 12 winning cities later this month.
