Snowboard Maker Names President, Chief Executive

PRESTON - Just over two months after Ride Inc. co-founder James Salter resigned as chief executive, the snowboard company announced the appointment of Robert Hall as president and CEO.
Hall, 48, will take over on Aug. 20 and also will serve on the board of directors.
Hall has more than two decades of experience working with companies that market skis and related equipment, including Salomon/North America, Vuarnet-France and Smiley Hats. He has also been chairman of the American Ski Federation and Ski Industries of America, a trade association.
