Teen Arrested In Fatal Shooting
DES MOINES - A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the killing of a man whose body he reported finding.
The body of Danyo Griffin, 21, of SeaTac, was found Friday night behind a Thai restaurant along Pacific Highway South. He had been shot in the head.
Investigators don't think the Des Moines-area teen arrested yesterday fired the fatal shot, but they suspect he knows more about the crime than he has been telling, said Des Moines Police Sgt. Mike Chaney.
Griffin was shot during an attempted robbery that "went bad," Chaney said.
