Girl, 16, Abducted, Raped And Beaten
SEATTLE - A 16-year-old North Seattle girl was blindfolded, raped and beaten yesterday after she was abducted from a bus stop near the Seattle Center, according to King County Police.
The victim told detectives she was waiting for a bus near the center about 1:15 a.m. when a man grabbed her from behind, blindfolded her and placed her in an old pickup. The man drove her to the Stossel Creek area near Duvall, where he raped and beat her before leaving.
The victim was picked up by a truck driver about 6:45 a.m. on the Carnation-Duvall Road and driven to a service station, where she telephoned police.
She described her assailant as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet tall, 200 pounds with a pot belly, red hair, mustache and freckles.
The man, who wore a white T-shirt, tan shorts and muddy tennis shoes, drove an older white pickup with a blue stripe in the middle of the hood and torn upholstery.
