SPOKANE - The first woman in 30 years to be convicted of raping a man in Spokane County was sentenced yesterday to more than 20 years in prison.
Theresa Spickler-Bowe, 36, was convicted of first-degree rape and second-degree assault June 27 in Spokane County Superior Court. She was sentenced to 10 years and five months for the rape charge and 10 years for the assault charge.
Prosecutors accused Spickler-Bowe and her sister of raping the 42-year-old victim and torturing him between last September and January. Eunice Eichoff, who also was the man's longtime girlfriend, pleaded guilty to the charges and named Spickler-Bowe as the
instigator.
