BELLEVUE - Attachmate, the state's second-largest software company, has named William Boisvert president, expanding the duties he now holds as chief financial officer and executive vice president.
Boisvert (pronounced boy-VAIR) will continue as CFO but will add responsibilities for sales, marketing and other functions. He moved to Attachmate 2 1/2 years ago from Paccar, where he spent seven years as CFO and executive vice president.
Founder Frank Pritt had stepped in to run the company as president and chief executive officer 1 1/2 years ago, after the departure of James Lindner. Pritt, who is also chairman, will continue as chief executive.
Attachmate, based in Bellevue, makes software to link corporate computer networks and mainframes with desktop computers.
