Fremont Parade -- 20-Minute Parade Is Some Of Best Entertainment Around

My husband and I had the good fortune to attend the Fremont Summer Solstice Parade. It is without a doubt the most creative, innovative, inventive parade we have ever witnessed.

So, why is the only focus on the nude bikers? They were only a part of the parade for a few minutes. I did not see them.

Why not make note of the float with a very good Jamaican band, the Hawaiian float with volcano that belched smoke, the dragon held aloft with poles that also blew out smoke and growled, the people dressed like blades of grass and the Flintstone car?

These floats were all people powered. Everything was either pushed, pulled, pedaled or walked. There is nothing motorized and polluting the air, no horses polluting the ground. The parade only lasts about 20 minutes, but it is some of the best entertainment around. How about a few words of praise?
