Alaskans Get Scholarship Money For Seattle U
SEATTLE - Seattle University has received $1 million to launch a scholarship program for Alaska students wanting to study law.
The money was provided by George and Mary Sundborg, former longtime residents of Alaska and parents of university President Stephen Sundborg. The money will be available for scholarships at the Seattle University School of Law beginning next September.
Alaska is the only state without a law school.
