New Year's EVErett: Celebrate New Year's with the Everett Silvertips at the Everett Events Center's Conference Center after a 5:05 p.m. hockey game against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Brunswick Majestic Lanes, 1222 164th St. S.W., between Lynnwood and Mill Creek:

• A senior Monte Carlo party will start at 9:30 a.m. and include a breakfast buffet, bowling for cash, noisemakers, hats and prizes. Check-in is at 9 a.m. Admission is $16.99, and reservations are recommended.

• New Year's Eve parties will run in two-hour blocks from noon to 6 p.m. Families can bring children for party favors, hats and leis every hour. The cost is $44.99 per lane for up to six people. Families and individuals younger than 18 can bowl from 8 to 10 p.m. for $50 per lane and from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for $70 per lane.

• An 18-and-older party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. will include a buffet, party favors, noisemakers, champagne or sparkling cider and Monte Carlo Bowling. Cosmic Bowling will start at 12:15 a.m. Cost: $34.99 per person if paid by today, $44.99 at the door. Child care is $5 per child.
