The Seattle Crossfire Sounders Women went into Burnaby, B.C., Saturday and put an end to some soccer history.

The triumph was led by Michelle French, who was named player of the match as Seattle all but ensured a spot in the United Soccer Leagues' Women's Western Conference final.
